Cheryl Mowery

Cheryl Ann Mowery, 64, of Piqua, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was born August 25, 1957, in Piqua, to the late David and Martha (Anderson) Jenkins.

She is survived by her two children, Aaron Wright of Troy and Jesse (Mike) Snow of Houston; four grandsons; her stepmother, Becky Jenkins of Piqua; and siblings Myra Jenkins (Mike Bosse), Shoyn Street (Bobby Dagley), all of Piqua, Tammy (Larry) Cable of Willoughby, and Matthew (Raquel) Carr of Sidney. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tara Darner; and her former husband, Jeff Mowery.

Cheryl was a graduate of Piqua Central High School. She had worked for Orr-Felt and the former Piqua Memorial Medical Center in the dietary department. Cheryl loved dogs, flowers, camping, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 20, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Lincoln Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter, 1110 N. Co. Rd. 25-A, Troy, OH 45373.
