Dennis Martin

Dennis D. Martin, 69, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born July 27, 1951, in Ashland, to the late Harvey J. and Annie (Weaver) Martin. He married Debra (Bowman) Martin on August 4, 1974; she survives in Pleasant Hill.

Dennis will also be missed and remembered by his two children, Annett (Kurt) Bayer of Covington and Troy (Abby) Martin of Silver Lake, Ind.; six grandchildren, Weston, Grant (Haleigh), Drew, Lane, and Ella Bayer, Malery McKee; his siblings, James (Janet) Martin, Carolyn Saxon, Eldon “Chet” (RuthAnn) Martin, Vera Rudolph, Leland (Charlotte) Martin, Lois (Keith) Miller, Nelson (Diane) Martin; mother-in-law Shirley Bowman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail (Ernie) Schrock, Duane (Lisa) Bowman, Galen (Ronda) Bowman, Margaret (Jerald) Yost, Sara (David) Stemler; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Harold Bowman.

Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Goshen (Ind.) High School and earlier in 2020 retired from Lorentson Mfg. Inc. of Kokomo, Ind. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church of Troy and enjoyed birdwatching, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, November 1, at Old Union Cemetery, Horseshoe Bend Rd., Ludlow Falls. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S.
