Diane McMillan, 64, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020, at State of the Heart Hospice Care, Greenville. She was born May 13, 1955, in Dayton, to the late Allen Aldredge and Reva (Helton) Aldredge of Bradford. Diane married Jerry R. McMillan on June 23, 1973; he survives.
Diane will also be missed and remembered by two daughters, Heather (Justin) Crews of Bradford and Michelle (Jeremy) Wilken of West Carrollton; two grandchildren, McKenna and Sydney; a brother, Joe Aldredge (Angela Trochelman) of Phillipsburg; a sister, Mary Aldredge (Ron Pasquinelli) of Huber Heights; a niece, Priscilla (Ryan) Billenstein; and a nephew, Robert (Jill) Aldredge.
Diane was a graduate of Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. She worked many years as a teller at the Bradford Branch of the Covington Savings & Loan. She enjoyed sewing, trips to Port Hope, Michigan on Lake Huron, gardening and canning. She was an animal lover, and rescued many of God’s creatures and nursed them back to health. She also loved store days, playing dinosaurs, watching for fairies, and searching for all things magical with her granddaughters.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with a time to share memories at 4 p.m. Private burial will be on her beloved family farm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
