Evelyn Earick

Evelyn M. Earick, 73, of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at her residence. She was born July 15, 1947, in Troy, to the late Russell and Sarah (Boze) Arnett. She married Dwain Earick; he survives in Sidney.

She is also survived by two children, Joseph Earick and Mary Earick; two grandsons, Anthony and Dalton Earick; a sister, Janice Jean Davis; a brother, David Arnett; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Bill, Elmer, and Donald Arnett.

Evelyn was a lifelong homemaker and cared for children in her home. She enjoyed garage sales and auctions, and also enjoyed going to community festivals with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Scott Stremmel officiating. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Covington. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.moorefh.com.
