Frank Richard Speer
Age 83, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Covington, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Hospice care. He was born February 15, 1932, in Bradford, Ohio, to his parents Walter and Opal (Roe) Speer. Frank was a painter for many years in Covington and surrounding areas. He also served in the US Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was preceded in death by his 4 sisters; Margaret Speer, June Harford, Nancy MacQueen, and Patsy Dover. He is survived by his wife Christine Speer of 60 years; children Brenda Brock-Hooker of Palm Coast, FL and Michael Speer of Troy; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother John Speer of Covington. A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 6, at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, 7875 N. Crescent Drive, Covington.
