Freida Trucksis

TRUCKSIS, Freida Mae Age 89, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in the care of her home. She was born September 19, 1923, in Troy, Ohio, to her parents Marion H. & Myrtle (Ford) Francis and celebrated her 29 th birthday for sixty years. Freida married Harold "Jake" Trucksis on February 6, 1946, and together they raised their family and shared a life for over 66 years. She retired from Spectra Physics and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tipp City and the Tipp City Senior Citizens. She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband Harold; daughter Cathy J. Jacobs of Troy; grandchildren Lisa & Marvin Reynolds of Troy, Jasen & Jenny Phelps of Greenwood, IN, and Ben Trucksis of Holiday, FL; great grandchildren Kadin Trucksis, Madeline Phelps, Masen Phelps, and Nathaniel Reynolds; sisters Mary June Oaks of Vandalia, Addie Henry of Del City, OK; brothers Adrian & Juanita Francis of Springfield, Glen Francis of Troy. She was preceded in death by her son Harold "Gene" Trucksis and grandson Jeremy Eugene Trucksis; 5 brothers; 1 sister. The family would like to thank her sister Addie and special friend Margie Clevenger for all their love and support. A special thanks to Hospice of Miami County for their amazing care. Funeral services for Freida will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 22, at the First Baptist Church of Tipp City, 6533 S. Tipp Cowlesville Rd, Tipp City 45371. Pastor Gary Boggs will officiate with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the First Baptist Church of Tipp City.
