Henrietta C. Skinner, 93, of Covington, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014, at Caldwell House, Troy. She was born March 26, 1921, in Covington, to the late Carl L. and Minnie (Oda) Wilhelm.
Mrs. Skinner is survived by her four children, Judy Trissell of Troy, Ila Jean & Robert Stamper of Columbus, Jerry & Linda Whitacre of Covington, and Sue Ann & Ed Haynes of Omaha, Neb.; her siblings, Richard Wilhelm of Tipp City, Elbert Wilhelm of Piqua, Mildred Clott of Fort Recovery, and Margaret Moore of St. Marys; seven grandchildren, Chris, Brian, and Brad Carder, Vanessa Tucker, Julie Wolfe, Sean and Sam Daubert; and several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Paul, Lowell, John, Cloyd, Herbert, and Harold Wilhelm; and sisters Lois Henderson, Kathryn Jay, Hilda Morrow, and Ruth Ellen Greer.
Henrietta was a 1939 graduate of Troy High School and retired from the former Terry’s Cafeteria of Piqua. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Piqua.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 14, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of the donor’s choice.
