Jaqueline Marie Angle was born to Jack and Margaret Mefford of West Milton on November 14, 1950. Invited to attend church as a young girl by her next door neighbors, Jackie met Jesus and gave her life and heart to Him. When asked, she would testify that she was a child of God all her life and was never in doubt of God’s love for her.
Jackie met her spouse of 54 years, Don Angle, as a teenager. They were married March 14, 1970. Don and Jackie began married life in Ohio, then moved to Twain Harte, California in 1973. While living in California, Jackie asked for adult baptism. She gave birth to her and Don’s first son before they moved back to Ohio in 1975.
In the following years, Don and Jackie welcomed three more children into their home. They raised their family here in Ohio, experiencing many joys and weathering many storms together. Over the years, Jackie warmly received the new spouses of her and Don’s young adult children into their family. Mom had a servant heart, and her deepest contentment and purpose came in taking care of her loved ones. One of the great happinesses of her life was the interaction and the time she spent with her grandchildren as they came along and joined the family. She tirelessly helped in any way she was able.
Jackie, Mom, Grandma Honey, was a down to earth, spunky, strong-spirited, warm, hospitable wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an extrovert who loved people. She loved to feed them, chat with them, play games with them, and worship with them. She was a faithful church attendee all her life and especially loved worship music.
When Jackie, Mom, received her brain cancer diagnosis last March, her faith in Christ held her firm and unwavering. She accepted the diagnosis and all that followed in the past year with peaceful courage. She kept her eyes on Jesus. Jackie/Grandma Honey knew she had two cherished grandchildren, Theo and Jewel, waiting for her embrace in Heaven. She peacefully departed for her eternal home on Sunday, March 2, 2025 and we know she is rejoicing to be there at last.
Holding her in loving remembrance are her husband, Don Angle; her children Seth and Havilah Angle, Sally and Chad Crist, Joe and Shana Angle, Dave Angle, Darlene Angle; twenty-two beloved grandchildren, and two precious great-grandchildren.
Goodbye, Jackie. Goodbye, Mom. Goodbye, Grandma Honey. We love you so much and will see you again soon!
