Jeffery Mowery

Jeffery Weber Mowery, 57, of Piqua, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at his residence.  He was born June 27, 1961, in Piqua, to the late Joe Bill Mowery and Barbara (Weber) Mowery.  His mother survives in Piqua.

Jeff will also be missed and remembered by three sons, Aaron Wright of Piqua, Jeff Mowery of Texas, Travis Mowery of Texas; his daughter, Jesse Wright of Houston; two sisters, Dalana (Richard) McInnis of Piqua, and Jennifer (Joe) Bauman of Tipp City; six grandchildren; his friend and former wife, Cheryl Mowery; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Brent Mowery.

Jeff was a 1978 graduate of Piqua High School.  He worked many years at the former Orr-Felt, and later at KTH in St. Paris.  He loved racing and was an avid NASCAR fan.  He was a handyman able to fix almost anything, especially cars and lawn mowers.  He was a football fan of the Piqua Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Miami Dolphins.

A visitation gathering to honor his life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 2, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, where a service will follow at 7 p.m.  Private burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.  Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses.  Online condolences may be left for the Mowery family at www.moorefh.com.
