FLORY, John Elmer
Age 94, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Brookdale Senior Living, Clare Bridge. He was born January 30, 1921, in Cerro Gordo, Illinois, to his parents Riley W. & Ruth Naomi (Beeghley) Flory. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife of 71 years Elsie Mae (Peters) Flory; children and their spouses Harold & Nancy Flory of Covington, Nancy & Galen Miller of Fora, Indiana, Carolyn & Wayne Landes of New Madison, Mark & Janet Flory of Covington; 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Norman & Pauline Flory of Eldorado, Ohio; brother-in-law Charles & Julia Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law Marvin & Anne Flory; sister Anna Hess. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, May 18, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 Farrington Rd, Covington, with interment following at Highland Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM Sunday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Covington.
