Kathrine Ingle

Kathrine L. Ingle, 78, of Piqua, passed away Tuesday evening, April 8, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born December 29, 1946, in Piqua, to the late Robert and Dorothy (Anthony) Shade. She married Wayne D. Ingle; he survives.

She will also be missed and remembered by her three children, Dennis (Cathy) Ingle of Piqua, Andy (Tricia) Ingle of Covington and Susie (Jeff) Harris of Fletcher; five grandchildren, Kaili (Peter) Johnson, Kyle (Kenna) Ingle, Cassie (Ethan) Zimpfer, Allison (Kenton) Wolf and Fletcher Harris; four great-grandchildren, Cooper, Colby, Gwen and Noelle; and brothers Ron (Karen) Shade and Tim (Alice) Shade.

Kathy was a 1965 graduate of Piqua Central High School, and worked many years for the former Stanley Door of Covington. She was a member of the YWCA of Piqua and enjoyed playing cards, sewing, and was an excellent baker.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Peter Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the YWCA of Piqua. Online condolences may be left for the Ingle family at moorefh.com.
