Lois Heilman

Lois Eileen Heilman, 88, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Heartland of Piqua.  She was born May 22, 1928, in New Carlisle, to the late Russel and Mary (Dorcus) Taylor.

Lois will be missed and remembered by her loving husband of 69 years, Max E. Heilman; daughter and son-in-law Jane (David) Huntress of Greenwood, Ind.; three grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Kendra Escajeda, and Tawnya Adams; and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Robert Beaver.

Lois was a graduate of Elizabeth Township High School and worked alongside her husband as secretary of the former Beaver-Heilman Ford in Covington.  She was a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, at New Carlisle Cemetery, State Route 235, New Carlisle, with Pastor Michael Yingst officiating.  Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Monday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S.
