Marcella Holmes

Marcella T. Holmes Age 90, of Bradford, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011, at her residence. Marcella was born on June 2, 1920, to her parents John and Anna Krimiser in Dayton, Ohio and they preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Walter F. Holmes, Jr., son-in-law Robert Felter, brothers Joseph Krimiser, John Krimiser, Charles Krimiser, and grandson Christopher L. Felter. Marcella will be missed by her surviving children and spouses, Patricia A. Felter, West Milton, William W. and Patsy K. Holmes, Springfield, Elizabeth J. and Doyle D. Delk, Bradford; grandchildren Russell E. Felter, Tipp City, Cynthia A. Felter, Zurich, Switzerland, Brian M. Holmes, Kevin A. Holmes, Carisa M. Peters, Springfield; great-grandchildren Camille M. Felter, Tipp City, Andrew C. Felter, Mason, Benjamin R. Felter, Tipp City, William A. Holmes, Grace A. Holmes, Fred E. Peters V., Matthew M. Holmes, Ian M. Holmes, Zane E. Holmes, and Jenna M. Peters, all of Springfield. During her life, Marcella worked at Walt's Trout Lake, B & B IGA, and at the Stonehedge Tea Room where she was lovingly referred to as ?Mom? by the patrons. She was also a Master Gardener. Marcella loved life and enjoyed her family. Calling hours for Marcella will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Covington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11 at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 6925 W. US Route 36, Covington with interment following at Dayton Memorial Park. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa Catholic Church.
