FILBRUN-BAYER, Mildred L.
Age 95, of Covington, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Sterling House of Troy. She was born December 4, 1918, in Brookville, Ohio, to her parents Lester B. & Martha (Miller) Hicks. She was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Filbrun; daughter Karen Miller; sister Mabel Denlinger; step great-granddaughter Lydia Filbrun. She will be missed and remembered by her husband Walter Benedict Bayer; children and their spouses Darryl & Janet Filbrun of Covington, Carla & Roland Miller of Denair, CA; son-in-law Robert (Shirley) Miller of Ceres, CA; step children Don & Sue Bayer of Covington, Lloyd & Denise Bayer of Brookville, Duane & Bhronda Bayer of New Lebanon; grandchildren Janell Bowman, LeAnn Bowman, Roland Filbrun, Ryan Filbrun, Laura Miller, Nathan Miller, Patrick Miller, Natalie Bowman, Tracy Miller, Alex Miller, Ethan Miller, Thomas Miller, Tamara Boone; 12 step-grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 50 step great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 18, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 Farrington Rd, Covington, with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM and 6-8 PM Monday at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Covington.
