Robert Lillicrap

Robert L. “Bob” Lillicrap, 91, of Piqua, passed away Monday morning, February 26, 2024, at Ayden Healthcare of Piqua. He was born June 9, 1932, in Piqua, to the late Harry and Ethel (Rice) Lillicrap. He married E. Janice (Deal) Lillicrap on April 20, 1951; she preceded him in death on January 24, 2006.

He will be missed and remembered by his four children, Roberta Peelman of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Douglas (Jacki) Lillicrap, David (Susan) Lillicrap and Duane (Rhonda) Lillicrap, all of Piqua; eight grandchildren, Matthew & Nicholas Peelman, Ami Fashner, Robert Lillicrap, Tom Lillicrap, Joshua, Crystal & Jacob Lillicrap; and many great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Lillicrap; four brothers and a sister.

Robert was a 1950 graduate of Piqua Central High School and was a longtime timber buyer, retiring from M. Bohlke Veneer Company of Fairfield. He enjoyed antique cars, playing cards, and working in his woods.

Funeral services to honor his life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Steve Spoon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Friends may visit with the family from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
