Robert Conley

Robert R. Conley, 80, of Troy, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016, at his residence. He was born September 17, 1935, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to the late Roy R. and Nellie May (Gee) Conley. He married Jana Sue (Pfister) Conley; she survives in Troy.
Mr. Conley is also survived by six children, Sherry, Robert, Leeanne, Tayna, Bobby, and Marcus; grandchildren Ethan, Lilly, Maddy, and Marissa; and mother-in-law Judy Pfister. He was preceded in death by his brother Ron Conley; daughter Andrea Sturwold; father-in-law Bill Pfister; and grandparents-in-law Basil and Mary Rice.
Robert had worked for the Miami County Sheriff’s Department, as a security guard with Burns Security at Hobart Brothers, as a Florida State Prison Guard, the Troy Elevator, and the Villa Convalescent Center. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges at Indian Lake, and also enjoyed camping.
