Robert A. “Bob” Whitlow, 83, of Piqua, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at his residence. He was born February 19, 1938, in Newberry Township, Miami County, to the late William P. and Laura M. (Fitzpatrick) Whitlow. He married Saundra L. (Hill) Whitlow on September 16, 1960; she survives.
He will also be missed and remembered by a daughter, Barbara (Scott) Pearson of Huber Heights; three grandchildren, April (Dustin) Clark, Crystal Hubbard, and Rob Pearson; three great-grandchildren, Payton, Lucian, and Maura; and two sisters, Linda and Ruth. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Jo Whitlow; and eleven siblings.
Bob served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy and retired from the former Kerry Ingredients of Covington. He was a member of Warren Lodge F.&A.M., was a Shriner, and a member of American Legion Post #184 of Piqua. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and watching baseball and football.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
