Wanda Jess Clark, 81, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center. She was born December 19, 1936, in Jay County, Indiana, to the late Frank and Myrtle (Sheets) Tucker. She married Raymond E. Jess; he preceded her in death in 1994. She then married Harold Clark; he preceded her in death in 2007.
Wanda will be missed and remembered by her five children, Cathy (Terry) Howell of Franklin, Linda Jess (Tom Holfacker) of Greenville, Connie (Jim) Bayless of Pitsburg, Raymond “Butch” (Ceceil) Jess of Greenville, and Ted (Kim) Jess of Covington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Carden, Mary Urick, and Dixie Hall; and a brother, Samuel Tucker. She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Wanda was a lifelong homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Brian Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH 45331.
